The Community Cohesion team work in partnership with Motiv8 to deliver Youth Choose, a programme of positive activities sessions across the city of Portsmouth. Launched in December 2014, the project is being funded by Portsmouth City Council and looks to offer more activities for children and young people to take part in across the Portsmouth area. The service is fun, engaging and provides a range of opportunities, like football and boxercise at the Mountbatten Centre, Stacey Centre and Priory School.
The sessions are free of charge and open to all young people aged 9-19 years, although under- 18s require parental consent to participate in the activities. The aim of the project is to encourage as many young people as possible to engage in positive activities across the city.
