New Children’s Programme Proving Popular
The groundbreaking initiative that has been running for the last three seasons has gone from strength to strength as the very first initiative of its kind to be delivered in the country, sees children from the local community create a match day programme, designed by children, specifically for children.
Supported by Bishops Printers, children have the opportunity to work on a number of key National Curriculum initiatives including, literacy, numeracy and ICT. It is not only the children that create the programme who benefit from The PUP, it is also the fans who read it on a match day, with a number of different articles and features, which are sure to engage and entice.
The programme which is sold for £1 around the stadium on a match day, goes back into the community to continue to fund the initiative.
