Pompey in the Community (registered charity no. 1126118) is an independent charitable trust affiliated to Portsmouth Football Club.
All our coaches are FA qualified, hold enhanced CRBs as well as Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates.

March 2012 – Awarded The Football League’s Community Club of the Year for South-West Region, recognising the unique and innovative programmes that the charity delivers.
March 2012 – Awarded The Football League’s National award for Family Club of the Year. The work the charity contributes to the match day experience was recognised in this prestigious award. The judges highlighted our “Camping on the Pitch” for junior members as well as our “Family Zone” on match days.
July 2012 – Our Futsal team became winners of the South-West Region Futsal League, finishing in top position above Cardiff, Southampton, Plymouth Argyle, Exeter and AFC Bournemouth. This is a fantastic achievement for the first year of our Futsal Education scholarship.
Kicks National Awards 2012 – Kicks is a national initiative which works towards creating stronger, more respectful communities through football. There are over 100 Kicks projects running nationally so Portsmouth achieved incredible recognition in being shortlisted for the following National awards:

Positive Futures Nation Awards 2012 – Positive Futures is a prevention and diversionary programme which targets and supports 10-19 year olds who are at risk of becoming drawn into substance misuse and crime.
