We’re incredibly proud to announce that Pompey in the Community will have over 70 runners taking part in the Great South Run on Sunday, 20th October 2024! This amazing event is one of the biggest in the south of England, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it, raising crucial funds to support our community projects.
One of our standout runners this year is Russell. He’s been a long-standing participant at Pompey in the Community, and is a key player in our adult disability football team. Russell embodies the heart of what we do—helping individuals of all abilities stay active, engaged, and included in sports. The funds raised by our incredible team of runners will go directly towards continuing projects like these, ensuring we can keep people like Russell doing what they love.

Are you ready to cheer on our runners? We need your help to keep spirits high and help our charity team cross the finish line with a smile! Whether you’re a fan of wearing Pompey blue, or you think you can cheer louder than anyone else in Southsea, we want you there.
We know it can be a challenge to meet friends and family among the massive crowds, or to spot your loved ones running by. That’s why we’ve set up our very own Pompey in the Community Base at the Queens Hotel. It’s the perfect spot to gather with fellow supporters, cheer on our runners, and be part of the fun!
