There may be some budding footballers in our ranks but, for many, stepping onto the pitch at Fratton Park is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Become a Pompey mascot for the day, walk the ball out in front of the players or wave the team on in a guard of honour in the EFL Championship next season.

These packages often sell out as soon as the fixtures are released so get in there quick to book!

Match Day Packages

Mascot: Silver Package £95

What’s included?

  • Age restriction 5 – 12 years old
  • 2 x Match tickets (1 for the accompanying adult and 1 for the child mascot)
  • A loan kit for the event
  • Warm-up/kick-about on the Fratton Park pitch (weather permitting)
  • Lap of honour around the ground
  • Lead a player out onto the pitch
  • Official ‘centre circle’ and shaking hands photographs with other mascots, match officials and captains
  • All photos sent digitally

Mascot: Gold Package £195

What’s included?

  • Age restriction 5 – 12 years old
  • 2 x Match tickets (1 for the accompanying adult and 1 for the child mascot)
  • A loan kit for the event
  • Warm-up/kick-about on the Fratton Park pitch (weather permitting)
  • Lap of honour around the ground
  • Lead a player out onto the pitch
  • Official ‘centre circle’ and shaking hands photographs with other mascots, match officials and captains
  • Complimentary drink in the Jimmy Dickenson Suite
  • Walk through South Stand

Matchball Carrier £95

What’s included?

  • 1 Person / 1 Booking per event
  • 2 x Match tickets (for the Match ball Carrier and accompanying adult)
  • A loan kit for the event
  • Warm-up/kick-about on Fratton Park pitch (weather permitting)
  • Lap of honour around the pitch
  • Meet the match referee and officials
  • Carry the official match ball onto the pitch prior to the game
  • Photographs sent digitally
  • Age restriction 13- 18 years old

Flag Waver £300

What’s included?

  • Welcome players on to the pitch; wave flags as the teams emerge onto the hallowed turf
  • The whole squad can take a penalty at the Fratton End at half time (weather permitting)
  • Open to all mini soccer (U7-U10) football teams
  • Teams to wear their club kit
  • Includes tickets for 12 children and 4 accompanying adults (maximum)

All proceeds from these match day experiences come back to Pompey in the Community and help pay for our staff to run the match day activities.

Fan Zone

Catch us every match day as we deliver fun fan zone activities including our famous inflatable penalty shootout. Look out for the bucket collections and QR Code for donations to help us continue doing this in the future.

Nelson

You can find our fan favourite mascot, Nelson in the Fan Zone or in the Family Fan Zone on a match day. If you’re lucky you might also find our Pompey Sailor giving him a helping hand.

Nelson has a very busy schedule, however, he has limited availability to pop into your charity or school events. As we are a charity ourselves, all we ask is for a donation towards Pompey in the Community to help us keep Nelson in tip top shape.

Half Time Drinks

For many years, with help from dedicated Pompey Supporters’ Trust volunteers, Pompey in the Community have delivered hot drinks to our fans who use wheelchairs or require accessible seating in the Fratton End on match days.

From December 2023, The Island Tea and Coffee Company have generously offered to supply everything we need to continue delivering this service for the rest of the season.

Ball Retriever Team

Pompey in the Community are also responsible for organising and training the very professional ball retrievers at Fratton Park. The team are generally made up of participants from our Community programmes and we’re delighted they can be part of the action.

Match Day Tickets

We are really fortunate that Portsmouth Football Club, U Support and some really generous supporters of the charity donate a variety of tickets for us to share with our community groups each match.

This is our chance to say thank you as many of those fans may not have had the opportunity to attend a match if it wasn’t for your support.
