Plate Up Pompey is a community project using the shared passions of food and football to bring people together and celebrate the diverse cultures, experiences and stories that make Portsmouth such a vibrant place.
What will we be doing?
Throughout the project, we’ll be bringing people together through a range of activities, including:
– Intercultural cooking sessions
– Shared meals and conversations
– Football and matchday experience
– Creative workshops
You don’t need to be a football expert or an experienced cook to get involved. Whether you’ve lived in Portsmouth all your life, have recently made the city your home, love trying new food, enjoy meeting people or simply want to be part of something positive, Plate Up Pompey is for you.
We particularly want to create opportunities for people and communities who may not always feel represented or included within football to have their voices heard and their cultures celebrated.
