Support local people and achieve your social value goals by partnering with Pompey in the Community
Join us for an inspiring morning to discover how partnering with Pompey in the Community can help your business achieve meaningful social value goals while positively impacting the Portsmouth community.
What is Social Value?
You might call it Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Value or simply supporting the community. The Public Services (Social Value) Act (2012) says public sector organisations and their suppliers should look beyond money as an indicator of value and consider how their services can enhance the economy, social, and environmental wellbeing of a community.
Event details:

Who we support
Our purpose is to involve, educate and inspire communities using the power of football and the Portsmouth Football Club brand; no matter their barriers. So we work with children and adults of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Here is someone who is involved in a variety of our activities:
“From the beginning, Pompey in the Community provided a nurturing environment that extends beyond the football pitch. Through the Changemakers programme, she developed leadership skills and a sense of community service. Participating in providing Christmas gifts for young carers instilled in her a deep sense of empathy and generosity. Her role in the Youth Council broadened her understanding of community support and teamwork, giving her the confidence to voice her ideas.”

Who supports us
We’ve been supported by a variety of organisations in the past and present, from Island Tea and Coffee Company regularly supplying us refreshments to The Hampshire Flag Company helping us make the John Jenkins Stadium look the part. Here’s a brief overview of some of the support from Utilita.
“Pompey in the Community is a phenomenal charity – I’ve closely seen the work they do for years now as our partnership has blossomed. The entire organisation is so focused on supporting everyone else, it’s nice to do something for them.”
