Students v Staff at Fratton Park: A Night of Football, Fun, and Fundraising – And We’re Proud to Be One of the Chosen Charities!

We’re incredibly proud to have been selected as one of the chosen causes for this year’s Students v Staff Charity Football Match, hosted by the University of Portsmouth. The match will take place at none other than Fratton Park, the historic home of Portsmouth Football Club, on Friday 9 May—and we couldn’t be more excited!

This annual event is back after a short hiatus, bringing together the community for an evening of entertainment and purpose. The Students v Staff match is more than just a game—it’s a symbol of collaboration, generosity, and local pride. And this year, we’re truly honoured to be part of it.

As a chosen charity, we’re grateful not only for the financial support this event will help generate, but also for the awareness it brings to our cause. Being recognised by the University of Portsmouth in this way highlights the strength of our community and the power of partnerships in making a real difference to people’s lives.

We’re really proud to be returning to Fratton Park for another great match, this event is about more than football – it’s a chance to bring people together, raise money for two brilliant charities, and strengthen the bonds between our University and the wider Portsmouth community.

Fratton Park provides a fitting stage for such an event. With its rich footballing history and passionate supporters, it’s the perfect venue to host a game rooted in friendly rivalry and mutual respect. The partnership between the University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Football Club is a great way to show of how organisations can come together to create lasting impact—both on and off the pitch.

This year’s match promises to be bigger and better than ever, with plenty of excitement in store. Whether you’re cheering on the students or rooting for the staff, your support on the night helps raise vital funds for local charities and strengthens the ties that bind our city together.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the University of Portsmouth for selecting us as one of this year’s supported charities. It’s a privilege to be involved in an event that brings people together, celebrates local talent, and gives back to the city we’re proud to be part of.
