Families across Waterlooville are set for a magical start to the festive season as Oaklands School prepares to host live orchestral performances of the beloved Christmas classic The Snowman on Saturday 29th November.

The event will feature a professional 24-piece orchestra, bringing to life the iconic music from The Snowman alongside a programme packed with festive favourites. Audiences can look forward to live renditions of music from Frozen, The Polar Express, A Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Festival, and Sleigh Ride, culminating in a full-length screening of The Snowman with live orchestral accompaniment.

Organisers say the performances will offer a “magical and memorable evening for families, children, and music lovers alike,” marking a heartwarming start to the Christmas season.

There will be three one-hour performances throughout the day at 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm, with doors opening from 12:30pm. Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for children, with babies in arms admitted free of charge.

Guests can also enjoy snacks and light refreshments available at the venue, along with plenty of on-site parking.

Tickets are available now through Eventbrite — simply search The Snowman, Oaklands School and the event date to book.
