Two of our partner schools, Priory and St Edmund’s Catholic School, joined us at Williams Racing as part of our Premier League Inspires programme.
We visited the F1 HQ of Atlassian Williams Racing to explore future careers and education pathways linked to the Formula 1 industry. Participants took on a STEM-based challenge, designing and testing their own prototype F1 nose cone, while also working through budgeting and the marketing of its safety.
After lunch, the group put their driving skills to the test on the Williams Racing Simulators, taking on some of the world’s most renowned F1 tracks, before concluding the day with a tour of the Williams Museum.
A big thank you to the brilliant team at Williams Racing for a fascinating insight into the world of F1 and the employment pathways within the industry.
Quote from teacher:
“For St Edmund’s pupils, this was a day that combined learning, fun, and inspiration in a way that only the world of Formula 1 can. The trip not only gave them a deeper understanding of STEM subjects but also motivated them to continue pursuing their interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It was a fantastic day that will stay with them for years to come!”
