Over 60 young girls came together in July to enjoy a fantastic morning of football, fun and friendship at our Premier League Kicks Girls Only Festival.

The festival celebrated the growing number of girls taking part in Premier League Kicks, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants could develop their football skills, meet new friends and enjoy the game.

Throughout the morning, the girls took part in a range of fun football activities designed to improve their confidence, teamwork and technical ability. The festival also featured a series of exciting small sided games, giving everyone the opportunity to put their skills into practice in a positive and supportive setting.

The event brought together girls of all abilities, with the focus firmly on enjoyment, participation and creating lasting memories. Coaches encouraged players to challenge themselves, support one another and embrace the values of respect, teamwork and fair play throughout the day.

Premier League Kicks continues to provide free football sessions and positive opportunities for young people across the local community, using the power of sport to inspire confidence, improve wellbeing and create stronger connections between young people.

The Girls Only Festival showcased the continued growth of female participation within the programme and highlighted the importance of providing dedicated opportunities for girls to play football in an inclusive environment where they can thrive.
