What a fantastic day of development for our Advanced Training Centres and JPL programme!

Our ATC players had the opportunity to train with participants from the JPL programmes, coming together for a session centred around learning, growth and delivering high-quality football experiences. Bringing the groups together created a brilliant environment where players could challenge themselves in new ways, test their understanding of the game and learn from one another.

Across three different age groups, the focus remained firmly on development. Sessions were designed to encourage strong decision-making, improve game understanding and build confidence both in and out of possession. Players were consistently asked to think, adapt and apply what they were learning in realistic scenarios.

It was especially pleasing to see the way all players embraced the challenge while still enjoying the experience. The energy, positivity and willingness to try new ideas made for a productive and rewarding day for everyone involved.

Experiences like this are invaluable in supporting long-term player development, providing opportunities for young footballers to grow technically, tactically and socially within a supportive environment.
