John Jenkins Stadium

The John Jenkins Stadium will be our new sports facility and community hub in the middle of the Portsmouth. Named after D-Day veteran and life-long Pompey fan, the John Jenkins Stadium will become a central hub for us all, where we can train, learn, play and most importantly, belong and grow.

The facilities include:

  • The 3G Stadia Pitch including stadium seating, viewing areas and tea hut
  • The 3G Community Pitch
  • a MUGA boxing gym and community hub
    studio space

Bookings will open in due course.

Study Centre Room Hire

Pompey in the Community is based in Anson Road, right next to Fratton Park, where we house our six classrooms, including a kitchen classroom, offices and breakout areas.

Corner Flag Suite

The Corner Flag Suite is designed to replicate the corner flag area of a football pitch. The room as tiered stadium style seating faced towards a projector and screen.

Suitable for: meetings, training and workshop based activities.

  • Tech: 1 Computer for Teaching Only

  • Teaching: Computer, Sound, Projector and Smart Board.
  • Print: Full colour printing facilities

Kitchen Hire

Alongside our classrooms, office and break out areas, we have a kitchen classroom that is available to hire. The cookery suite is one of only a few that are accessible to the public in the city. The facility has been specifically designed to replicate a kitchen environment that people would find at home.

Suitable for: community cooking groups, education groups. The facility has eight workstations and is fully equipped with utensils and cooking apparatus.

  • Tech: No computers available in this room

  • Equipment: Induction hobs, ovens with extractor fans and fridge/freezers.

  • Print: Full colour printing facilities

Nelson and Mary Rose Suites

Our Nelson and Mary Rose suites are identical and run parallel to each other. The rooms are separated by a partition wall that can easily be moved.

Suitable for: meetings, training and workshop based activities.

  • Tech: 12 Computers

  • Teaching: Computer, Sound, Projector and Whiteboard
  • Print: Full colour printing facilities

  • Capacity: 12 in each room or 24 with dual hire

The Changing Room Suite is an IT room designed to replicate changing rooms in a football stadium.
