Saturday Skills School

Join us every Saturday at Miltoncross School or Gosport Leisure Centre for our Saturday Skills School, part of Pompey in the Community’s player pathway programme. Tailored for young footballers from Year 1 through to Year 5, our fun, high‑energy sessions focus on mastering the fundamentals—dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending—while building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. With groups divided by age, each child receives coaching designed to challenge them at just the right level. Sign up now to kick-start their football journey with expert guidance in a friendly, inclusive setting.

Skills Training Centre

Our Skills Training Centre at the John Jenkins Stadium is the perfect environment for young footballers in School Years 1 to 6 to develop their skills and passion for the game. Sessions take place every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and Thursday from 5pm to 6pm, focusing on key areas such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending.

Delivered by experienced Pompey in the Community coaches, each session is fun, inclusive, and designed to help every player grow in confidence and ability. For those who demonstrate talent, hard work, and a great attitude, this programme also offers a progression route into our Advanced Training Centre, where players can take their development to the next level.
