Pompey in the Community’s Life ‘n’ Chimes programme welcomed a lively group of local childminders and their little ones this week for a morning filled with arts, crafts, and Smart Energy GB activities.

The session was designed not only to encourage creativity and social interaction among young children but also to speak to our participants about the benefits of smart meters through a fun and accessible activity. With their new friends the participants took part in a specially designed Smart Energy Word Search, helping raise awareness about how smart meters can support better energy use and help keep bills under control.

The visit was part of Pompey in the Community’s continued involvement with the Smart Energy GB and EFL in the Community partnership, which aims to bring energy education to local communities through football clubs and their outreach programmes.
