Four members of the Pompey in the Community team attended the annual PETA Awards at the Guildhall on Friday, celebrating the achievements of apprentices, employers and organisations from across the region.

The evening saw two members of the team recognised for their outstanding work, with Laura Clifford and Karin Kircher both nominated for Finance Apprentice of the Year.

Pompey in the Community was also shortlisted for Employer of the Year, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to supporting its staff, developing talent and creating opportunities within the community.

Although the team did not take home an award on the night, the event was a fantastic celebration of local achievements and a proud moment for everyone involved.

The organisation congratulated Laura and Karin on their nominations, as well as all finalists and winners recognised at this year’s ceremony.

A spokesperson for Pompey in the Community said the team was proud to be part of an evening that celebrated the dedication, hard work and success of apprentices and employers across the region.
