Premier League Inspires
Premier League Inspires uses the appeal of football to help young people develop the personal skills and positive attitude to succeed in life.
More than 30,000 young people have received over 130,000 hours of targeted support across 1,000+ schools and educational facilities since the programme’s launch in 2019.
The programme is delivered by 45 club community organisations and is supported by the Premier League and Professional Footballers’ Association.
More than £14.5m has been invested into the programme via the Premier League Charitable Fund.

Premier League Inspires Challenge
The programme also allows participants to take part in youth social action projects through the annual Premier League Inspires Challenge. Funded by the Premier League and Premier League Charitable Fund’s partners, the Challenge helps young people to learn about some of the challenges facing their football club and community, exploring ways to overcome these issues.
For Season 2023/24 clubs will be looking at mental health, as part of the Premier League’s Inside Matters campaign.
Through Premier League Inspires, the Premier League and professional football clubs will:
- support young people to improve their wellbeing
- develop young people’s character and life-skills
- help schools keep pupils present and committed
- provide young people with access to more opportunities
- enable young people to plan for the future and be work ready
