Portsmouth FC First Team players Ronan Curtis and Marlon Pack attended Pompey in the Community’s holiday course at Miltoncross School over the February school holidays to help inspire the next generation of aspiring footballers.
Marlon and Ronan started their visit with a Q + A session with the lucky group of young football fans, finishing off their visit with handing out the week medals and trophies and a session of signing autographs. During the meet and greet signing session, one participant enthused, ‘best day ever!’.
Pompey in the Community also organised a raffle on the day and names were picked out by our special PFC guests. Congratulations to Riley and Eliza who won signed matchday programmes, and to Albie and Mathias who won PFC footballs signed by Ronan and Marlon.
After personally signing autographs to every player at the session, Ronan spoke about his visit, “It was great to come down and spend some time with the children on the Pompey in the Community holiday courses last week. It was great to see so many children enjoying the sessions put on by the coaches and we really enjoyed the day, especially being able to hand out the trophies and medals won throughout the week”.
Look out for dates and times on our social media accounts @pompeyitc for updates on our courses during the Easter holidays in April.
Hopefully we’ll see you there!
