Established in 2015, Portsmouth Amputee FC has grown to compete on a national level in the English Amputee Football Association (EAFA) League. Over the years, the team has faced tough competition from clubs such as Manchester City, Peterborough, West Brom, Brighton, Newcastle, Everton, and Arsenal. Currently, Portsmouth competes in the IKO Premier League alongside Chelsea, Everton, and Newcastle United.

Portsmouth Amputee FC has enjoyed significant success, securing ten titles since 2022 which includes the EAFA League, EAFA League Cup, and the FA Disability Cup, as well as reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 Champions League.

The squad is made up of 12 players, including five current England internationals and three representing Scotland. The club’s founder and former captain, Ray Westbrook, is now part of the England management team.

Fixtures are held monthly at the home of England Amputee Football in Crewe, and although our Portsmouth FC Amputees are inspirational athletes, this team can only function on the generosity of fundraising and sponsorships.
