We’re delighted to host 20 local Primary and Secondary schools across the local network to Fratton Park as part of the Premier Leagues No Room for Racism Campaign being supported nationally by Premier, Football and National League clubs and charities.

Pompey in The Community and Portsmouth Football Club have been working Show Racism the Red Card for well over a decade and were recently inducted into their Hall of Fame at 10 Downing Street in the summer of 2025 due to our ongoing commitment to support their work. Jack from SRtRC delivered the ‘Fans of the Future workshop’, supporting young people around their understanding of positive attitudes and behaviours as we fight discrimination and prejudice. Both our Primary and Secondary schools were tasked to design a poster using the insights shared by the room and SRtRC which saw a number of prizes awarded.

For the afternoon session, we were delighted to be joined by Portsmouth First Team player Jacob Farrell who took part in the Q&A with our Primary Schools as he shared his experiences within the game.

Events like this highlight the vital role football plays in bringing communities together and inspiring the next generation to stand up against racism and discrimination in all forms. Pompey in the Community remain committed to promoting equality, respect, and inclusion both on and off the pitch, ensuring that every supporter and player feels valued and represented.
