Kirk Hughes, Portsmouth Amputee FC Player said, ‘The boys are showing great teamwork and we are getting some excellent results in a hard fought league. We’ve been unlucky with some results, but if we keep playing the way we are, hopefully we’ll show how well we play as a team and remain top of the league.’
Portsmouth & England player Ray Westbrook, commented about the team’s ambitions, ‘The lads have all stepped it up a gear from last season, feeling fitter and finding themselves in control of games more often. We still have 6 fixtures remaining and the final playoff day, we need to keep our focus and I’m sure Portsmouth Amps FC will follow up with the goods to be crowned champions this season!!!! PUP!’
