Despite the inclement weather during half-term, Pompey in the Community’s holiday courses still went ahead and so much fun was had by all the participants!
As an added incentive, anyone attending on the Thursday in a Pompey kit was automatically entered into a prize draw for some Pompey goodies; a signed Pompey shirt, football and poster as well as match tickets and a goodie bag. Nelson helped to pick out the winning names from the hat via a live link on the Friday.
Pompey in the Community hold holiday courses at various venues during every half-term and main school holiday. Details of these courses and more can be found on the website or by calling the office on 02392 728899 during office hours Monday to Friday. Details of our Easter Holiday course dates and venues are already available on the website and members of Pompey’s Junior Blues fan club can claim a 10% discount by calling the office to book a place.
Courses are for children aged between 5 and 12 years old of all abilities. Girls only and junior disability courses are also available, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Sign up with a friend for the courses, which generally last from 9.30am to 3pm, or come on your own to make some new friends. All the PitC qualified coaches are DBS checked and have First Aid qualifications and offer an excellent mix of skill-building and gameplay in small sided matches.
We’ll look forward to seeing you all at the Easter Holiday courses in a few weeks!
